Hello All,

I am very new to the world of AdSense and just learning to know it. I have my own site which was created using "Google Sites" since you don't have to pay to host a Google Site and it is very easy to use and I hate coding! Anyway, I have put some Ads on my small page, but I know that there are issues with putting certain code like javascripts onto a Google Site. I wanted to add "AdSense for Search" to one of the pages of my Google Site, but I don't think this can be done simply...if at all? Perhaps I am missing something. As far as I understand you can't just generate the "Adsense for Search" code and paste it into the HTML section of Google Sites. It will tell you this code will be removed. Is there a way to add "Adsense for Search" to a Google Site by perhaps inserting it as a Google Gadget? If so, how do you do it. Please keep in mind I know next to nothing about code, so if you respond use "simple directions" ha ha, as I am not very technical in regard to webpage vernacular. Also, does anyone have any tips on how to effectively drive traffic to a site. I have updated my tags on Godaddy (hosts my domain). I notice you also can't edit METATAGS directly on Google Sites either. Wouldn't you think Google would make Google Sites easier to use with its own AdSense Product? Please...any and all help will be EXTREMELY appreciated!

http://www.tradebit....oduct/-/8981492 This is the e book I used when I started out using adsense. It really helped me a lot. Especially since I had no idea about coding or anything. It shows you how to do that as well as driving traffic to your site. However, to drive traffic to your site. You create articles, visit blogs and leave comments, and submit your URL to hundreds of sites. Its hard work but if you want traffic thats how to do it. About the adsense for search, see if there is a search box thing that you could paste your code into? I'm not really sure what else to tell you. Good luck
