I have been an Adsense user for 4 years on three sites. While the overall traffic to these sites has increased modestly, the click through rate has steadily decreased year over year. Are ads just not getting as much interest anymore? Have the rest of you out there experienced the same?

4 years ago most of the surfers even did not know what ad sense is. They were thinking it is another link which will take them on some part of the same web site. Now they know that it is an add and they do not click as they used to...
For more opinion I will need to see the web sites.
