Hi,

I have been a Google Adsense publisher for the past 3 years. 3 days ago I received the dreaded message from Google telling me that it was in the best of their interest and their advertisers to disable my account.

I have been advertising at www.yafilm.com which is a youtube like website that I run that gets an average of about 1000 visitors per day.

I do not understand them, as a youtube like website is not in violation of their terms of service agreement. I made sure to never click on my own ads. I only promoted my website by word of mouth since I run a computer repair business. Each time that I repair a computer I add my website in my customer's Firefox book mark menu so they can come back to it, see, upload new videos or comment/blog about my added videos there -- nothing pretty much illegal here as adsense's TOS is concerned. By the way, there is no infringing of adult videos on my site.

I tried to contact them to see if I can get my acount re-instated and I have not heard from them.

Because I dont know what is going on here, there inability for them to explain to me what they have considered that I was doing wrong. I have to advise AGAINST using adsense. In the mean while, I am using a 3rd party contextual ad provider while I wait to hear from Google (it that will ever happen)

Is it that Google has found my website to be worthless due to its low visitors rate of about 1,000 daily? I am puzzled here as to the decision they have took and refusing to explain why.

it is a common problem for publishers to take a long time to get a proper response. best of luck.

i don't blame you for being annoyed. they should have at least told you what you were doing wrong and gave you a chance to put things right.

i am glad you found a good adsense alternative in the mean time.
