I wanted to introduce myself as I am a web-database programmer. I have been reading the threads on here for a couple days and wanted to get some feedback from you guys.
Let me give you a little background. My website is www.ATVGarage.com. For about 7 years now I have been selling the shock cover product listed on mysite, but the past 6-10 months its slowly falling off and the site hasn't been updated in a long time. As you can see I do have adsense at the top of it and the other day I went in and checked it I had 4 clicks this month and had a pretty good profit.
Seeing these numbers this makes me think i should have an "adsense" website with ATV content. I wanted to get your guys imput on what I should do and how it should be layed out. I have this domain sitting out there and its not being profitable like it used to be.
Thanks Guys and I look forward to talking to you.
Justin

hi justin and welcome to the forum. i am sure we can help your adsense site to perform.
i did a search for "shock covers" in google and i could not see your site listed anywhere near the top. This is probably why you are not getting many sales anymore. if i were you i would spend my time boosting my website ranking so that i could sell more "shock covers" rather then just giving up and going for adsense.
i also noticed that your page rank (in google) is zero. Your first step could be to build some links to your site and that might help get things moving. also, you could add more information about shock covers to the site and maybe have a few pages dedicated to other aspects of ATV's. the more content the better.
i would encourage you to put most of my energy into getting better ranking for your site and not worry to much about adsense. you have a good domain name and if you make the site look a bit more professional your sales will increase.
maybe place adsense on "content pages" but don't include them on the pages where you are trying to sell products because it may make your site look less professional.
have a look at the following sites (that rank better than you) and try to work out what they are doing differently to you.
shockcovers.com
www.atvparts.biz
outerwearsracing.com
www.shockpros.com

One thing I noticed was that your page names weren't very descriptive. I would suggest making a page for the Honda 250x some more like Honda_250x_350ex instead of just 250x_300ex.
Additionally, your page titles are generic. On that very same page I see the title of "New Page 1"
The search engines look at this information when indexing and having a more specific title might help with your page rank.

thanks guys. I've been working for the past week off and on, on redesigning my site. I think I actually found something that I like. I'm hoping to finish it up this weekend and have it uploaded.
