Hi everyone,

I just read that Google is beta testing a totally new ad network called the Content Referral Network.

If this goes live, it will basically be a Google version of Commission Junction. Rather than having pay per click ads, this alternative Google advertising network will offer Cost Per Action (CPA) Ads. This means that you only get paid if someone clicks on an advert AND then does the required action such as buying a product from the advertiser.

You can read more about it here:

In my experience these kind of programs aren't worth it. Most importatly if you have an educated web savy audience they won't go for it.

Thank You

well i have not had much luck with commission junction so far - so i think I agree with you.

the main benefit might be diverting some people away from text ads so that they won't be so common place. they seem to be on every second website i visit these days.

Tru, true we need to find a way to convince users that ads are not just a waste of time, but instead are other links to actual usefull material. But thanx to the web's hunger for money everyone seems to be trying to trick them into clicking ads.

Thank You
