It is true that all the information you want regarding Adsense is out there on the Web. You can find it here and in other forums like this, many of which are run by some of the big players But it takes time to find that information and I for one haven't got that time to spare.
Now my reasoning for buying was this; buy the book and you have all the infomation, or at least the greater part of it, in one place. If you have a spare twenty minutes or so then you can read something you are interested in, maybe you are doing something to one of your sites or want to try something new it can be helpful and give a few tips. I find printing out the section I'm interested in quite handy.
I suppose ebooks are a bit like dieting; the information is freely available but it is putting it into some sort of organised form that is difficult.
It is also like dieting in another respect we all know about yo-yo dieters: loose weight, put it back on again, go on another diet, loose weight, put it back on again........ The trick with ebooks, like dieting, is to follow a given regime and stick to it. No yo-yo dieting, no yo-yo e-booking!!!
Has anyone out there ever reada 'Dummies' book. I guess most of us have. Well they are not rocket science are they? The information they offer is available on line but people feel happier with a book in their hand, especially when it offers bit size chunks.
Comm's Adsense book is not rocket science either, like the 'Dummies' book it is a simple read and personally I like to have the information in one place and because I haven't a background it computers I like the information in bite size chunks.
So having bought the book what is my opinion. For me it proved woth the money. It did help me increase my revenue by over 100%!!!! but then that's not difficult if you are starting from a very low base
Would I recommend it. Yes, if you have a spare $70 odd dollars. It will put most of the information you want in one spot and give you a referece point to work from.
Will I buy more ebooks in the future? I honestly don't know, certainly not in the immediate/medium term I've more than enough info to keep me going for the moment. Although I am interested in professional blogging and would like to read up on that. I might buy one on that topic but certainly not until next March at the earliest.
And yes I have an affiliate like for it but I'm not posting it here as I want this thread to stand on its own.
